About this property

You will be hard pressed to find a better location for walkability in Downtown TC. This listing is for 2 adjacent flats in the Historic 1890 Firehouse One building. With 2 king and 3 queen beds, up to 10 guests can be accommodated. The location is unbelievable. Walkout the front door (street level) and you are only a couple hundred feet from the absolute center of Downtown TC (between Front and State Streets on Cass).

This listing is for adjacent flats on the first floor of the Historic 1890 Firehouse One in Downtown Traverse City. The building was completely restored and repurposed during the beginning of the pandemic into 6 unique and beautiful spaces. Extra special attention was made to preserving the historic character of the building while giving it a fresh and timeless makeover.

The Firehouse Flats are both accessed from a secure steel entry door in the alley behind Front Street using a keypad lock system.

The Firehouse Flats are located just behind front street on Cass. We are just a couple doors down from the epicenter of Downtown Traverse City and the best shops and restaurants, coffee shops and watering holes.

Upon arrival at Firehouse One, you can unload and park in a dedicated space just across the street in a private parking lot that we provide. Once you are all checked in, you don’t really need to drive. Everything that Downtown Traverse City have to offer is totally walkable from our central location.

LIVING SPACE
Opening up from the kitchen is the central living space, also filled with natural light. This area has a mounted television and abundant seating that includes a queen-sized pull-out sleeper for additional overnight guests.

The large bedroom has a king-sized bed, spacious closet and a television.

Additional rules:

We kindly ask that you please take your shoes off inside of the apartments. Before checkout, we also ask that you run the dishwasher with any dishes you have used during your stay and empty the trash into the dumpster at the back of the building prior to departure. We are thankful to be able to provide parking but we don’t want to have to chase down parking passes. Please remember to leave them in the units upon checkout.
