Firehouse One is a historic brick building located in the center of Downtown Traverse City. It is just a few short blocks away from West Bay and only steps away from some of the best shops and restaurants in town. Built in 1891, Firehouse One was Traverse City’s first fire station. During a ground up restoration of the building in 2021/2022, extra care was given to preserve the historic character and charm of the building while bringing it up to the higher standards of a modern living space. These adjacent flats in the Historic 1890 Firehouse One Building in the heart of Downtown TC are only a few steps away from the epicenter of activity, sharing a private exterior entrance along the alley (behind Front Street). There are 6 beds (4 king beds and 2 queen sleeper sofas) in the space in total, which sleep up to twelve guests max. The larger 3BR/1BA second level loft has dramatic 14-16 foot ceilings and painted brick walls, sleeping 8 upstairs. The first floor flat is a spacious 1BR/1BA with 10ft ceilings and exposed brick walls.
